SAN ANTONIO – A suspect was arrested on Sunday in connection with a serious stabbing incident that occurred on the Northwest Side of the city, according to the San Antonio Police Department (SAPD).
The police responded to the scene around 12:40 p.m. on North Knoll, near Danny Kaye Drive. This area is known for its residential neighborhoods and typically peaceful environment.
According to an initial report from SAPD, witnesses said that the suspect, a 21-year-old man, started a physical fight at the location. When a 26-year-old man tried to intervene and stop the altercation, the suspect stabbed him in the upper body.
After the incident, the suspect fled the scene but was later located by police officers. He sustained minor injuries during the confrontation and was taken to a hospital for treatment.
The victim, however, was not as fortunate; he was hospitalized with serious injuries. Medical professionals are currently treating him for his wounds, and updates on his condition have yet to be released.
