SAN ANTONIO – The search for answers continues in the tragic case of Aaron Collins, a 21-year-old man who was shot and killed on September 1, 2025. As the investigation stretches into its second year, Crime Stoppers San Antonio is actively seeking tips from the community to help solve this case.
On that fateful night, San Antonio police received a call reporting a shooting at an apartment complex located in the 10000 block of Westwood Loop. Upon arrival, they found Aaron Collins who had been shot in the chest and unfortunately pronounced dead at the scene.

According to Crime Stoppers, just before 1:30 a.m., a suspect was seen waiting to enter the apartment complex while driving a silver four-door Mercedes. Afterward, this individual met with Collins, leading to a chase around the building before the tragic shooting occurred.
The suspect fled the scene in the Mercedes, which had a lighted front emblem and noticeable damage on the rear driver side bumper. Additionally, a white GMC single cab truck was reported to be accompanying the Mercedes during the incident.
To encourage anyone with information to come forward, Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for tips that lead to an arrest in this case.
