FORECAST HIGHLIGHTS

Today’s weather is looking dry and hazy! After a few days of on-and-off rain, we’re in for a break. Coastal areas might see a shower or two, but overall, expect a quiet radar. Highs are expected to reach the mid-90s, with the heat index possibly hitting around 100°F for a few hours this afternoon. Plus, a light plume of Saharan dust will give the sky a hazy appearance today and tomorrow.

FORECAST

Looking ahead to Saturday, we can expect scattered downpours throughout the day. By late Friday, a surge of deep moisture will move in from the South, which will help develop more clouds and increase the chances of rain. So, if you have outdoor plans, you don’t need to cancel them, but be prepared for some rain, which could be heavy at times.

After Saturday, small rain chances will continue as the heat high shifts to the north. This means that while the rain might not be as intense, there will still be opportunities for some showers in the area.
