SAN ANTONIO – In a scary early morning incident, San Antonio police are on the lookout for a man who allegedly fired several gunshots at a woman’s home before trying to break in.
The police received a call about the shooting just after 3 a.m. in the 1600 block of Cable Ranch Road, which is near State Highway 151 and Northwest Loop 410.

A 24-year-old woman reported that shrapnel hit her after the man shot through her door multiple times. He did not stop there—he entered her home and got into a physical fight with her.
Fortunately, several witnesses were able to help and pushed the suspect out of the house. However, he attempted to break back in and continued firing shots through the door. During this second wave of gunfire, two other people were injured by shrapnel, according to the police report.
The San Antonio Police Department (SAPD) stated that their investigation is still ongoing, as they work to gather more information and locate the suspect.
