FORECAST HIGHLIGHTS
FORECAST
TODAY
The weather is shifting into a calmer pattern, with high pressure dominating the area. Expect a hot and humid week with mostly sunny skies following morning clouds.
STILL BENEFITTING FROM SATURDAY’S RAINFALL
Thanks to recent rain, local reservoirs are on the rise. Medina Lake has seen a significant increase, gaining over 12 feet in just one week, though it still sits at only 8% of its total capacity. Meanwhile, Canyon Lake has risen by 1.5 feet in the same timeframe.
In addition, the aquifer levels are climbing, reaching nearly 647 feet at the J-17 well, marking its highest point since February 2024. This is a 22-foot increase since the recent low in early April.
Aquifer levels continue to rise

SAHARAN DUST
It’s that time of year again when Saharan dust starts making its way across the Atlantic. While the dust clouds are not particularly thick, we can expect light bouts of dust on Wednesday and again on Friday. Fortunately, these will be so light that you probably won’t notice any significant effects.
Light bouts of Saharan Dust will affect the area this week.
