SAN ANTONIO – A man was shot multiple times in a disturbing incident that unfolded late Sunday night on the West Side of San Antonio. The victim is currently in critical condition and receiving treatment at a local hospital, according to the San Antonio Police Department (SAPD).

The shooting occurred just before 1:50 a.m. on Monday morning in the 400 block of Old Highway 90, which is near Southwest 34th Street. This area is known for its nightlife, with many bars and food trucks.

According to police reports, the man had just left a nearby bar and was walking to a taco truck when he was approached by a vehicle. An individual exited the vehicle and, for reasons that remain unclear, began to argue with him.

During this confrontation, the man was shot multiple times in the torso. The suspect then fled the scene in the same truck. Fortunately, officers were quick to respond to the scene.

Law enforcement later located the truck on South San Augustine Avenue. They surrounded a nearby home in an attempt to determine if the shooter was inside. However, further details on the suspect or the circumstances surrounding the shooting have not yet been released.

This incident is still under investigation, and updates will be provided as more information becomes available. It’s a reminder of the importance of safety and awareness, especially in nightlife areas.
