GUADALUPE COUNTY, Texas – A recent traffic stop in Guadalupe County led to the arrest of a San Antonio woman after deputies discovered a significant amount of methamphetamine in her possession.
According to the Guadalupe County Sheriff’s Office (GCSO), the incident took place around 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday in the 200 block of Austin Street, located in Seguin. During the stop, deputies identified the driver as 40-year-old Anna Vasquez.
Upon further inspection, law enforcement officials found 254 grams of methamphetamine in her vehicle. This amount is substantial, indicating that Vasquez is suspected of distributing narcotics throughout the county.
Vasquez was subsequently booked into the Guadalupe County Jail, facing a serious charge of delivery of a controlled substance. Jail records reveal that she is currently held on a bond of $50,000.
