FORECAST HIGHLIGHTS
FORECAST
A cold front is making its way through the region today, and it’s expected to create quite a shift in the weather. Specifically, in San Antonio, the changes will kick off in the early afternoon hours. So, if you’re planning to be outdoors, enjoy the warm weather while it lasts! We’re looking at a high temperature in the mid-80s around lunchtime before those temps start to dip into the 70s later in the day. Be prepared for some breezy northeast winds as well.
Temperatures will peak around midday, with falling temperatures this afternoon.
RAIN CHANCE
This cold front also brings a slight chance of storms. While the likelihood of seeing a storm is pretty low at about 20%, it’s worth keeping an eye on the skies. If a storm does develop, there could be some severe weather associated with it, but thankfully, that risk should diminish after the front passes.
A stray storm is possible along today’s cold front.
MORE RAIN CHANCES
Rain chances through Saturday.
MOTHER’S DAY
Looking ahead to Sunday, it looks like we’ll be in for a treat with mostly sunny skies and warm temperatures. Highs are expected to reach around 90 degrees, making it a great day to celebrate Mother’s Day outdoors!
