SAN ANTONIO – An 82-year-old man named Robert Hobson has been arrested following a serious incident on the North Side of San Antonio. He is accused of stabbing a 79-year-old woman in her home early Tuesday morning.
The woman reportedly called her son, expressing concern about Hobson’s strange behavior. This prompted her son to visit her residence in the 200 block of West Lullwood Avenue, not far from Hildebrand Avenue.
Upon arriving, he discovered that his mother had been stabbed multiple times in the upper body. The San Antonio Police Department (SAPD) confirmed that she was quickly transported to a local hospital and is currently in critical condition.
According to SAPD Public Information Officer Sharavious Jackson, Hobson has been charged with aggravated assault using a weapon, which resulted in serious bodily injury. He is currently being held at the Bexar County Adult Detention Center on a bond set at $150,000.
