BEXAR COUNTY, Texas – In a shocking turn of events, a 24-year-old man named Michael Alexander Garcia has been charged with aggravated robbery and deadly conduct following a violent incident outside a bar in Alamo Ranch. This incident unfolded on a Friday evening when Garcia allegedly opened fire on the establishment and its crowded patio after a dispute arose over an unpaid tab.

According to the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office, the situation escalated after Garcia’s credit cards were declined, leading him to react with gunfire from his vehicle as he attempted to flee the scene. Witnesses reported that multiple rounds were fired, prompting a security guard at the bar to return fire in an effort to protect the patrons. Fortunately, no injuries were reported as a result of this dangerous confrontation.

Deputies were able to track Garcia’s vehicle to a garage at a nearby residence, where they located him. Witness identification played a crucial role in securing his arrest, leading to his booking at the Bexar County Adult Detention Center on the aforementioned charges.

The specific name of the bar involved in this incident, along with its address, has not been disclosed by the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office as the investigation is still ongoing. This developing story raises important questions about safety in social venues and the broader implications of such violent acts in the community.

As the investigation continues, further updates will be provided to the public. Community members are encouraged to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities, as safety in public spaces is a shared responsibility.
