CIBOLO, Texas – An extensive manhunt has come to a close as a wanted fugitive, Aris Jamal Random-Powell, was arrested in Cibolo on Friday. This arrest was confirmed by the Guadalupe County Sheriff’s Office, shedding light on the ongoing efforts to apprehend individuals with serious criminal backgrounds.
The 28-year-old Random-Powell was wanted for multiple offenses, including a motion to revoke his bond related to manslaughter and theft charges. His criminal history is quite extensive, featuring serious charges such as weapons violations, manufacturing and delivery of narcotics, and several theft incidents.
The authorities acted swiftly; the Guadalupe County Sheriff’s Office SWAT team, in coordination with the San Antonio Police Department, executed an arrest warrant in the 300 block of Hinge Loop in Cibolo. During the arrest, deputies discovered a stolen vehicle, adding more layers to Random-Powell’s legal troubles.
Currently, Random-Powell is being held at the Bexar County Adult Detention Center, where he awaits further legal proceedings. This case highlights the ongoing battle against crime in Texas and the dedication of law enforcement to keep communities safe.
