Wake up it’s Halloween!
It looks like the weather has decided to join in on the Halloween fun, with a spooky fog covering much of the area this morning. Starting off in the mid-60s, we can expect only a slight warm-up throughout the day. Thick clouds will linger, keeping temperatures in the 70s for the afternoon and evening.
Rain for Trick-or-Treating?
There’s a small chance of rain showers developing in the late morning, possibly sticking around into the early afternoon. The best chances for these isolated showers will be in Hill Country and areas near and west of I-35.
However, don’t worry too much about rain ruining your Halloween plans! Conditions are expected to dry up just in time for your evening outings, with clouds breaking up more in the evening, allowing temperatures to cool off a bit faster.

Kicking off November
As we move into November, don’t forget to set your clocks back one hour on Saturday night or Sunday morning. The weather looks pleasant and mild as we start the week ahead. But brace yourself! A cold front is set to arrive shortly after November begins, which means cooler temperatures are on the way. Rain and possibly a few storms could accompany this front as it moves through on Tuesday. We’ll have more precise timing as we get closer to the date. After the front passes, expect comfortable morning temperatures!
