SAN ANTONIO – In a delightful display of team spirit and festive fun, San Antonio Spurs star Victor Wembanyama and several of his teammates embraced the Halloween season with a visit to Six Flags Fiesta Texas for their annual Fright Fest celebration. This event, known for its spooky attractions and thrilling rides, offered a perfect backdrop for the players to relax and bond before the start of the NBA season.

However, standing at an impressive height of 7-foot-4, Wembanyama humorously noted that he faced some challenges when it came to enjoying the park’s rides. Speaking to the media on Monday, just a day before the Spurs’ season opener, he quipped about the restrictions that come with his towering stature. “I didn’t do any ride. I can’t do it safely, so… I didn’t pass the height requirement,” he joked, showcasing his lighthearted approach to the situation.

Videos shared on various social media platforms captured the moment, showing Wembanyama alongside teammates such as Dylan Harper, Devin Vassell, Stephon Castle, and Julian Champagnie, all partaking in the Halloween festivities. The camaraderie among the players was evident as they enjoyed the spooky atmosphere of the amusement park.

When asked about his experiences on roller coasters as a child, Wembanyama reminisced fondly, stating, “Yeah, of course,” indicating that while his height might limit him now, he once enjoyed the thrills just like any other kid.

With the Spurs set to kick off their regular season on Tuesday against the Oklahoma City Thunder at the Frost Bank Center, anticipation is building among fans and players alike. The game is scheduled to tip-off at 8:30 p.m., marking the beginning of what many hope will be an exciting season for the Spurs.

Fright Fest at Fiesta Texas runs through November 1, providing plenty of opportunities for thrill-seekers and Halloween enthusiasts to enjoy the spooky attractions and festive atmosphere.
