EAT IT OR LEAVE IT | MURF’S BETTER BURGERS
2922 West Ave, San Antonio, TX 78201
David Elder ventured to Murf’s Better Burgers to sample their double cheeseburger combo, which includes fries and a drink for just $8.99. While the fries were decent, a little extra salt could have elevated them. However, the cheeseburger was a standout, and the drink portion was generous. Overall, the meal was quite filling for the price, but Elder would skip the fries in favor of that juicy double cheeseburger any day. Plus, there’s a half-price deal every Thursday, making this already budget-friendly meal even cheaper. Murf’s has earned its place in San Antonio’s fast-food landscape as a go-to spot for delicious, affordable burgers.

September was dedicated to celebrating migratory wildlife, culminating in the 11th annual Monarch Butterfly and Pollinator Festival in San Antonio. This month-long celebration honored birds, butterflies, bats, bees, and other pollinators. Several local restaurants and cafes participated by offering special dishes that incorporated pollinator-friendly ingredients. Notable spots included Liberty Bar, Best Quality Daughter, and Farm Table. Guests who found the “Made Possible by Pollinators” logo could take a photo and tag @MonarchFestSATX for a chance to win a fun goodie basket.
