STILL HOT THROUGH THE WEEKEND
Are you feeling the heat yet? If you’re in San Antonio, you might be wishing for a break from the sweltering temperatures. Unfortunately, it looks like we won’t be getting much relief this weekend. Forecasts indicate that temperatures will remain steady in the mid to upper-90s through at least Monday. In fact, we are currently experiencing one of the hottest Septembers on record in San Antonio.

SUNDAY EVENING STORM
As the high-pressure system causing this heat shifts into Mexico, we might see a few storms popping up late Sunday evening in the Hill Country. There’s a chance that some of these storms could drift towards San Antonio, with rain chances sitting at around 20% for Sunday evening.

NEXT WEEK
Looking ahead to next week, the weather forecast becomes a bit more complicated. A storm system is expected to move toward Texas by midweek, and it has been noted that the timing of this event may be slower than initially anticipated. This system is predicted to pull moisture from what remains of Hurricane Polo into Texas. As a result, rain chances are likely to appear on Wednesday and Thursday. However, it’s important to note that this isn’t a guaranteed forecast—weather can be unpredictable. A cold front is also expected to approach the area on Wednesday, which could bring slightly cooler temperatures for both Wednesday and Thursday.
