Man shot during possible domestic dispute on West Side, SAPD says

SAN ANTONIO – The San Antonio Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred early Thursday morning on the city’s West Side.

Officers responded to a call at approximately 5:30 a.m. in the 1500 block of North Sabinas Street, situated just south of Culebra Road.

A police officer on the scene reported that a man in his 20s was shot in the hip and may have also been grazed by a bullet on his head. Fortunately, the victim was conscious and speaking with first responders when they arrived.

He was taken to a local hospital for treatment, but at this moment, his condition remains unclear.

Investigators are looking into the possibility that the shooting was related to domestic violence. The police are actively searching for a suspect in this case.
