This Saturday, get ready for a mix of sun and humidity! The day will start off warm, with temperatures climbing quickly. As the day progresses, clouds will roll in ahead of a weather front, and by mid-afternoon, you might see a few showers in the Hill Country. Expect storms to move south toward San Antonio later in the day, especially between 5 p.m. and 10 p.m.

In San Antonio, there’s around a 40% chance of rain, but don’t expect heavy downpours. Most areas will likely see less than half an inch of rain. However, if a stronger storm rolls through, some spots could experience an inch or more of rain. Just a heads up: brief street flooding and gusty winds are possible, especially where the rain is heavier.

DRIER AIR MOVES IN
A few light showers may linger into early Sunday as the front continues to push south. However, skies will gradually clear up throughout the day, and humidity levels will start to drop. While temperatures will still be hot, reaching the upper 90s to around 100 degrees, the drier air will help make the heat feel a bit more bearable compared to the sticky weather we’ve had recently.

EXTENDED OUTLOOK
Looking ahead, the weather is set to get hot and dry once again. Next week, we can expect high temperatures to hover around the upper 90s to low 100s. Mornings will also remain warm, with lows in the mid to upper 70s.
Rain chances will be quite limited, so remember to stay hydrated, take breaks from the heat, and avoid spending too much time outdoors during the hottest parts of the day.
