SATURDAY EVENING STORMS
A slight change in the weather is expected Saturday evening, from around 5 to 10 PM, when a weak front or outflow boundary will push south into the San Antonio area. This could trigger a few showers or storms, though most of them are likely to be non-severe. The chance of rain during this time is approximately 30%, but keep an eye out for a strong storm or two that may develop.

EL NINO UPDATE
El Nino is officially in full swing, with the Climate Prediction Center estimating a 97% chance that it will continue into early 2027. So, what does this mean for us in South Texas? For now, not much change is expected. However, a quieter Atlantic hurricane season is likely, and the more significant impacts from El Nino may become apparent this Fall and Winter, often leading to more intense weather systems.
