In a recent development, a fugitive from Bexar County named Jason T. Gonzalez was captured after authorities in Mexico handed him over to U.S. law enforcement. This arrest took place at the U.S. Port of Entry II in Eagle Pass on Sunday, as reported by the Eagle Pass Police Department.
Gonzalez, who is only 20 years old, was wanted for a serious crime—first-degree murder. In addition to this, he had several other outstanding warrants for various offenses, including aggravated robbery, aggravated assault, and resisting arrest. His record also indicated charges like evading arrest, failure to identify himself, and unlawful carrying of a weapon.
Following his arrest, Gonzalez was taken to the Tom Bowles Detention Center in Eagle Pass for processing. He is expected to be returned to Bexar County to face the multiple charges against him.
