SAN ANTONIO – A tragic shooting incident occurred on the South Side of San Antonio on Monday evening, resulting in the death of one individual and leaving another critically injured. The San Antonio Police Department (SAPD) reported that a suspect has been detained at a nearby hotel.
The police responded to a call about the shooting shortly before 7 p.m. in the 1500 block of Roosevelt Avenue. At the scene, officers pronounced one victim, a man in his 30s, dead. Meanwhile, another victim, a man in his 60s, sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was rushed to the hospital for urgent medical care.
