BEXAR COUNTY, Texas – A tragic incident has unfolded in Bexar County where two young adults were found dead in an apartment, both with gunshot wounds. This has raised serious concerns and questions about what happened.
The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) reported that at around 3:30 p.m. on a recent Monday, they were called to an apartment complex located in the 12000 block of Culebra Road, near Roft Road. Upon arrival, they discovered the bodies of a man and a woman, both believed to be in their mid-20s.
A firearm was located between the deceased individuals, prompting investigators to explore the possibility of a murder-suicide. However, authorities emphasized that it is still too early to draw any definitive conclusions regarding the circumstances surrounding their deaths.
According to a spokesperson from BCSO, a family member had been trying to contact one of the individuals since Saturday evening. When they were unable to reach them, the concerned family member decided to visit the apartment complex. After consulting with the property manager, the maintenance team was called to force entry into the unit, where they made the grim discovery of the two bodies.
BCSO indicated that it appears an altercation had taken place between the two individuals before the incident. Currently, authorities do not believe there are any other suspects involved.
As this is a developing story, updates will be provided as more information becomes available. It’s a reminder of the tragic realities that can occur in our communities and the importance of mental health awareness and support.
