FORECAST

Today, we’re going to see some interesting weather as Saharan dust makes its way into our area. This dust can create hazy skies, but it also leads to stunning sunrises and sunsets. Fortunately, the air quality isn’t expected to suffer too much because the dust is high up in the atmosphere and gusty winds will help keep it from affecting us down here.

As we head into the holiday weekend, it looks like we’re in for a bit of a weather “repeat.” The summer doldrums are setting in, meaning we can expect steady conditions. There may be a couple of stray showers from Thursday to Saturday, especially in the afternoons when the sea breeze kicks in. However, don’t worry—these little showers shouldn’t put a damper on any Independence Day celebrations!
