The Chicks to perform in San Antonio twice this fall on 20th anniversary tour

SAN ANTONIO – Get ready, music fans! The popular country trio, The Chicks, are hitting the road for a major tour in fall 2026, and they’ve decided to stop by San Antonio not once, but twice!

Their “Taking the Long Way 20th Anniversary Tour” is set to rock the Majestic Theatre on Saturday, October 17, and Sunday, October 18. This special tour is all about celebrating two decades since the release of their iconic album, “Taking the Long Way.” This album not only topped the Billboard 200 chart but also snagged an impressive five Grammy Awards, including Album of the Year, Record of the Year, and Song of the Year.

For the first time ever, The Chicks—composed of Natalie Maines, Martie Maguire, and Emily Strayer—will perform the entire album live. Each night will wrap up with some of their biggest hits that fans know and love, making it a concert experience you won’t want to miss!

If you’re eager to grab your tickets early, you can join The Chicks Artist Presale, which kicks off at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, June 3.
