GUADALUPE COUNTY, Texas – On May 10, 2021, Sean Walton, a 24-year-old man from Burnet, Texas, was apprehended by the Cibolo Police Department after being wanted for murder. This incident has drawn significant attention due to its tragic nature and the quick response of law enforcement.

Walton is accused of fatally shooting Se Hun, who was working at the front desk of a Budget Inn in Austin. This confrontation occurred on May 8, 2021, and escalated into violence after what authorities describe as an argument. Se Hun succumbed to his injuries in a local hospital a week later, highlighting the serious consequences of such altercations.

Following the shooting, Walton fled the scene in a vehicle. Law enforcement quickly issued an arrest warrant for him. Their efforts paid off when a license plate reader identified Walton’s vehicle in the 700 block of Cibolo Valley Drive on May 10, leading to his arrest.

After his capture, Walton was booked into the Guadalupe County Jail, where he is being held on a bond exceeding $1.3 million. This substantial amount reflects the serious nature of the charges against him.

In addition to the murder charge, jail records indicate that Walton faces five other charges across three separate counties. This situation underscores the complexity of legal consequences following violent crimes.

As of the latest updates, Walton remains in custody, awaiting further legal proceedings. This case serves as a poignant reminder of the impact of violence and the importance of swift action by law enforcement in protecting communities.
