SAN ANTONIO – A motorcyclist is in critical condition following a serious accident that occurred on the North Side of San Antonio. According to reports from the San Antonio Police Department, the incident took place just before 3 p.m. on Saturday in the 6800 block of U.S. Highway 281 North.
The motorcyclist, a 21-year-old male, was traveling northbound when he attempted to take the exit for West Basse Road. Unfortunately, he lost control of his motorcycle and collided with a guardrail, leading to the severe injuries he sustained.
Emergency medical services quickly arrived at the scene, and the young man was transported to a local hospital where he is currently receiving further treatment. The nature of his injuries has raised concerns regarding his recovery, with family and friends hoping for the best.
The San Antonio Police Department is actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash, seeking to determine factors that may have contributed to the loss of control.
