SAN ANTONIO – The Rey Feo Scholarship Foundation and the Rey Feo Consejo Educational Foundation have officially announced that Ronnie Suarez will be the next Rey Feo, a title that embodies leadership and community service in San Antonio.
Suarez will take over the esteemed role from the 2026 Rey Feo, Danny Oliva. This transition is not just ceremonial; it symbolizes a commitment to the foundation’s enduring mission to promote education and cultural pride.
In an official news release, the Rey Feo Foundation stated, “This highly anticipated announcement marks the beginning of a new reign rooted in scholarship, leadership, cultural pride, and community impact.” Such statements reflect the foundation’s ongoing efforts to enhance the educational landscape in San Antonio.
Since its inception in 1947, the Rey Feo Foundation has dedicated itself to raising scholarship funds for students throughout San Antonio. This initiative plays a crucial role in providing educational opportunities for local youth, fostering future leaders in the community.
Looking ahead, the Fiesta San Antonio, the city’s largest annual celebration, is set for April 15-25, 2027. Over the course of 11 days, residents and visitors will enjoy a myriad of festivals and events, including the signature parades that characterize this vibrant celebration.
