THROUGH TUESDAY

Starting Monday, humidity levels will return, with temperatures rising to the mid-80s. Tuesday is expected to be particularly hot and humid, with highs reaching nearly 90°F and a peak heat index that could feel closer to 100°F. It’s advisable to stay hydrated and limit outdoor exposure during peak heat hours.

WEDNESDAY

An upper-level low pressure system and a cold front will approach Texas on Wednesday. This weather pattern could trigger scattered storms, particularly in the afternoon. If storms form, some could be strong or even severe, so it’s important to stay informed and prepared as the day progresses.

THURSDAY & FRIDAY

There is a chance of spotty rain (20%-30%) on Thursday and Friday. The more significant change will come with Thursday’s cooler temperatures, expected to reach only the low 70s, thanks to a north wind and increased cloud cover.

MOTHER’S DAY WEEKEND

Looking ahead to the Mother’s Day weekend, there remains some uncertainty regarding storm chances. Currently, there is a forecast for spotty storms (30%) on both Saturday and Sunday. Despite the potential for rain, it is expected to be warm and humid. Keep an eye on updates as forecasters refine the predictions.
