SAN ANTONIO – On a recent Sunday night, San Antonio police arrested a 19-year-old man named Xavier Lee Lopez in connection with an aggravated robbery that left four people injured near downtown.
The incident occurred just after 11:20 p.m. on San Pedro Avenue, when officers were called to the scene of a fight. According to reports, Lopez approached a 40-year-old woman and attempted to solicit money from her.
When the woman refused his request, Lopez allegedly tried to take her phone and wallet by force. In the process, he physically assaulted her using a closed fist.
Three boys, aged between 10 and 15, witnessed the altercation and attempted to help the woman. Unfortunately, Lopez turned his aggression toward them as well, resulting in minor injuries for all involved.
The police report confirmed that both the woman and the three boys sustained minor injuries during the incident. Lopez now faces charges of robbery and injury to a child as the investigation continues.
