SAN ANTONIO – A man tragically lost his life following a single-vehicle accident on the South Side of San Antonio, as reported by the San Antonio Police Department.

The incident occurred late Saturday night, around 11 p.m., in the 6300 block of Padre Drive, an area known for its residential neighborhoods.

According to police, the 37-year-old man was heading north when his vehicle unexpectedly veered off the road. Initial investigations suggest that he struck a light pole before colliding with a tree, ultimately coming to a halt.

The man sustained serious injuries from the crash and was promptly transported to a nearby hospital. Unfortunately, despite medical efforts, he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.

Authorities confirmed that no other individuals were involved in the accident, emphasizing the solitary nature of this tragic event. The investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing, and police have urged anyone with information to come forward.
