Incident Overview

SAN ANTONIO – A serious incident unfolded in August 2025 when a woman named Jullianna Marie Favella, age 20, was accused of intentionally hitting a man with her car in an H-E-B parking lot located on the Southeast Side of San Antonio. This shocking event has led to serious legal consequences for Favella as she now faces charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

Details of the Incident

The incident occurred on August 21, 2025, around 3:15 p.m., in the 4100 block of New Braunfels Avenue at McCreless Market. According to an arrest affidavit, Favella and the victim did not know each other prior to this encounter. They had exchanged words outside the store before the man walked away with a shopping cart.

Surveillance footage from H-E-B revealed that after the verbal exchange, Favella’s vehicle was seen parking in front of the man. After getting out of the car and engaging in further conversation, the man walked away again.

What Happened Next

In a troubling turn of events, as the man was about 25 feet away, Favella allegedly drove her car forward quickly, knocking him to the ground. Eyewitness accounts and the affidavit note that she then stopped the vehicle, turned towards the victim, and drove over him, leaving him entirely underneath the car.

After this alarming act, Favella reportedly reversed the vehicle, allowed another driver to get back in on the passenger side, and then fled the scene.

Legal Proceedings

Favella was arrested and booked into the Bexar County Adult Detention Center on March 21, 2026. Following her arrest, she was released on bond the next day, March 22, according to jail records. The legal ramifications of her actions are significant, as she faces serious charges that could lead to severe penalties if convicted.

Conclusion
