FORECAST HIGHLIGHTS
FORECAST
SUMMER-LIKE
Even though we’re officially in spring, it’s feeling more like summer around here! If you’re hanging out in San Antonio, get ready for some serious heat as afternoon highs are expected to climb into the lower 90s tomorrow. And if you’re near the Rio Grande, be prepared for temperatures that could even reach 100 degrees!
ELEVATED FIRE DANGER
With these high temperatures, low humidity, and dry ground, there’s an increased risk for fires, especially this weekend. Relative humidity is expected to drop below 30% across most of the area both today and Sunday, combined with slightly breezy winds. So, if you’re planning outdoor activities, be extra cautious!
Dry air and low humidity will bring elevated fire weather conditions
WARM PATTERN CONTINUES
The warm weather isn’t going anywhere soon! A weak cold front is expected to move into North Texas late Sunday night, but it’s likely to stall before reaching South-Central Texas. That means we can expect to stay warm and dry, even if temperatures drop a little bit.
