GUADALUPE COUNTY, Texas – Recently, the Guadalupe County Sheriff’s Office (GCSO) made some significant arrests linked to a serious human trafficking investigation.
On a Thursday, GCSO investigators executed a search warrant at a location on Lower Seguin Road in Marion. This led to the arrest of two individuals, Ronald Story, 62, and Martin Gonzales, 55, both from Marion.
During their search, authorities found several stolen items, including a Kubota skid steer, a Polaris Ranger UTV, and two semiautomatic handguns. These findings suggest that the suspects were involved in more than just human trafficking.
The charges against Story include sexual assault of a child and solicitation of prostitution involving someone under the age of 18. Gonzales, on the other hand, had active warrants for similar serious crimes, including sexual assault of a child and continuous trafficking of persons under 18.
The investigation is ongoing, and the GCSO has indicated that more arrests could follow as they continue to gather evidence. It’s crucial for community members to stay informed and vigilant about such issues.
